I think your work would be more interesting if you varied the edges for the colors. Right now everything has a very soft edge, so the coloring looks a bit mushy and boring. If you pay attention to forms though, light will react differently when it comes into contact with flatter planes vs. more rounded areas. So cheeks will have soft edges, while something like the nose on the old man or right under the eyebrow would have a hard edge.
Also your highlights are very white, and that desaturates the whole image and makes it less interesting to look at. Interior lighting is actually quite yellowish-orange, so if you add just a little more yellow-orange into the highlights it comes off much better.
